Genshin Impact: Free-to-play welcomes update 1.3

As widely announced by the software house during the past few weeks, the long-awaited update 1.3 has finally made its appearance within the servers of Genshin Impact, the free-to-play hybrid from miHoYo that has managed to garner a truly impressive number of endorsements from its market debut to date.

As was already known, the main novelty of this full-bodied update can be found in the character of Xiao, a new fighter that users will find directly within the Wish section of the game.
The combat system of said character is totally centered around his impressive spear he carries, which is capable of covering rather large radii with his slashes, especially by activating one of the PG's various special abilities, which can maximize the spearman's agility and attack range.

The other major new feature that players will be able to deal with, however, is a new in-game event, created specifically to celebrate Chinese New Year, a particularly heartfelt (to put it mildly) holiday in the developers' homeland.
That event is called the Lantern Rite Event and will encompass within it several activities all to be discovered.

In the meantime, although the arrival of update 1.3 is still fresh within the game, some leaks have already begun to peep through the net, describing some of the new features that will be featured in the upcoming 1.4 update.
Among them we find the introduction of new bows and catalysts, with a quality range from 4 to 3 stars. Since these are only unconfirmed leaks, it is possible that things will change once the update is made available, however, it does not seem so strange that the game may be plumped up with such content.

Should you also wish to delve visually into all the new features of this update, you can view the official presentation movie of the update below, within which you will discover all the most important features packed into just over 3 minutes. Good viewing!
